Main update factor:

Slider: Maximum impact (our value: 10, impact 1/10; maybe display it?) more makes no sense Minimum impact: (our value: 100 or 1/100) less makes no sense No impact at all (manual adjustment) We take 1/1000000000) Standard value: 30 or 1/30

Description: How much impact do you figure the last result should have on the team settings?

Detailed description (mouseover): There is in every game a difference between the goal expectancies you had and the result the game produced. By this difference we can adjust the strengths. But we have to decide how much bearing we want this difference to take? A recommended value is 30 (which translates into impact of 1/30). You can still adjust this value to your liking between maximum impact (of 1/10; more makes no sense really) and minimum impact (of 1/100). You can also decide to go for the „no impact“ option. This would mean: you know the strengths best yourself and if you spot something goes wrong or you change your assessment, you manually adjust via the „team settings“ menu.

Draw update factor:

Slider as well here. Make it between 30 and 100. Same thing here: 30 would mean „maximum impact“ 100 would mean „minimum impact“. The option „no impact at all“ can also be there. Same thing here: we set it to 100000000 (or then 1/100000000).

Description: How much impact do you figure a drawn result should have on the probability for the draw in upcoming fixtures?

Detailed description (mouseover): There is a standard setting of 60 (which means 1/60). It is a pretty sensible value found by rather „guessing“. Any game that ends in a draw will thus slightly raise the draw probability while any non-drawn game will lower it. There is a very fair balance between these two, but the effect will be such, that if a team play „too many draws“ (more than expected) the draw probability will simply be higher (not by much, though), while if they play less draws than expected it will be lowered. Both make sense, just stick to the preset value — or experiment with it if you are unhappy somewhere.
